Want to escape to a completely different environment? You don't have to travel far for that. About an hour's drive from the Dutch-German border, you'll find Hotel Gladbeck. Located in the northern part of the Ruhr area and close to many attractions, there is plenty to do here. The must-visit during a stay is Movie Park Germany in Bottrop, located about ten minutes by car from the hotel. In this well-known theme park, everything revolves around the film and television world. With over forty attractions, the whole family will enjoy a day full of adventure. There is a PAW Patrol theme area Adventure Bay especially for the youngest visitors, as well as spectacular theater shows, a parade, and stunts to see in the park. There is no shortage of thrilling roller coasters, so adrenaline seekers can have their fill. The Bandit, Germany's first wooden coaster, is still one of the most popular attractions. And who dares to ride the Star Trek coaster? In it, you ride very fast backward. You can't do everything in one day, so it's best to spend two days visiting Movie Park.
