Want to escape to a completely different environment for a while? You don't have to travel far for that. About an hour's drive from the Dutch-German border, you'll find Hotel Gladbeck. Located in the northern part of the Ruhr Area and close to many attractions, there's plenty to do here. The must-visit during a stay is Movie Park Germany in Bottrop, located about ten minutes by car from the hotel. In this well-known theme park, everything revolves around the film and television world. With more than forty attractions, the whole family can enjoy a day full of adventure here. There's also a PAW Patrol-themed area, Adventure Bay, specifically for the youngest visitors, and the park offers spectacular theater shows, a parade, and stunts. There are plenty of thrilling roller coasters too, so adrenaline seekers can have their fill. The Bandit, Germany's first wooden roller coaster, is still one of the most popular attractions. And who dares to ride the Star Trek roller coaster? In it, you ride a section at very high speed backward. You won't be able to do everything in one day, so it's best to plan two days for a visit to Movie Park.
