Highlights Den Bosch: short stops, big favorites
Shopped enough? Then it's time to get to know a few of the most iconic places of Den Bosch. Fortunately, you don't have to spend hours for that. With these three short pit stops, you literally and figuratively taste the Bossche culture: from a Bossche bol at Jan de Groot and a visit to the impressive Sint-Jan to a walk through the always lively Korte Putstraat. Small detour, big recommendation.

CONFECTIONERY JAN DE GROOT
Shortly after leaving Den Bosch station, you come across one of the city's best-known confectioners: Jan de Groot.
Every day, hundreds of people get a Bossche bol here, known far beyond Den Bosch. With an airy puff pastry, fresh cream, and a thick layer of chocolate, it's not hard to understand why.
Whether you want to sit down with a cup of coffee or quickly take something sweet on the go, this sweet pit stop is a must.
SINT JAN CATHEDRAL
You don't need to be a lover of churches or history to be impressed by the Sint-Jan Cathedral. This impressive structure is not only the most famous monument in the city but also one of the most beautiful churches in the Netherlands. Even if you normally wouldn't step into a church, a short stop here is definitely worth it.
Once you step inside, there's really no one place your gaze is immediately drawn to. All around you, you see colorful stained glass windows, impressive statues, paintings, and special details. Precisely because there is so much to discover, the cathedral has a warm and almost fairytale-like atmosphere. A visit doesn't take much time, but it makes clear why this building holds such an important place in the city.

KORTE PUTSTRAAT
The Korte Putstraat is the hospitality hotspot of Den Bosch. In this cozy little street in the city center, you will find a large variety of restaurants, cafes, and terraces. Whether you're in the mood for an elaborate dinner, a cozy drink, or a quick lunch, there's something for everyone. That's why the Korte Putstraat has been a favorite place for both locals and tourists for years.
