Surprising Mechelen and surroundings

Mechelen buzzes, lives and surprises. Wander through the beautiful center with the famous shopping street the Bruul or discover trendy boutiques. Enjoy the tranquility in the Groot Begijnhof, which has a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Walk along the water in the center; walking over the floating part of the Dijlepath is a unique experience. Visit Museum Hof van Busleyden in a beautiful Renaissance city palace. Be enchanted by the art deco winter garden of the Ursulines or go up high and climb the Saint Rumbold's Tower with its unique skywalk. And a visit to a Belgian city is of course not complete without a Belgian beer. With Brewery Het Anker, Mechelen is a proud server of the renowned Gouden Carolus beer. Cheers!
