Melle, Osnabrück and surrounding area
Shoppen, wandelen, fietsen, golfen of cultuur snuiven: u hoeft er vanuit ons hotel niet ver voor te gaan. Van een romantische oude binnenstad tot grote merkwinkels: de steden Melle, Osnabrück en Bielefeld zullen u niet vervelen. Bewonder ook de kastelen en burchten in de omgeving. Bijvoorbeeld het barokke kasteel Iburg, het waterkasteel Schelenburg uit de Renaissance of het nieuwromaanse kasteel Neu Barenaue. Langs een omvangrijk netwerk van wandel- en fietspaden kunt u het natuurpark Nördlicher Teutoburger Wald en Wiehengebirge ontdekken. Over de bergkammen lopen langeafstandswandelpaden met een totale lengte van meer dan 500 km. Bijzonder populair zijn de Wittekindsweg, de Hermannsweg, de Pickerweg, de Töddenweg, de Friesenweg en de EmsHase Hunte-Else-Weg. Voor wie het liever iets korter heeft, telt het natuurpark 1800 km wandelpaden of maak gebruik van een van de vele fietsroutes. De omgeving staat ook bekend als golfparadijs. Vlakbij vindt u de mooiste golfbanen van Duitsland, tegen een adembenemende achtergrond van bossen en heuvels.
