Here, at Van der Valk Hotel Nuland-’s-Hertogenbosch, it all began. Under the name Motel Nuland, Gerrit van der Valk opened the very first motel in the Van der Valk series in 1968. Since then, this hotel has 'siblings' in various locations around the world. Hotel Nuland-’s-Hertogenbosch has been known for many years to countless guests for the warm and cordial welcome by our friendly and hospitable staff. We are proud to now be able to show everyone the result of the extensive renovation and expansion: a modern and even more luxurious hotel where we can provide our guests with a delightful time.

Enjoy culinary delights

Gerrit's restaurant, named after our founder Gerrit van der Valk, is the place for a delicious à-la-carte dinner, Live Cooking brunch, an extensive high tea, or a nice drink. You can also enjoy drinks at our Bar 1862 'De Gouden Leeuw', the vibrant heart of the hotel. The name refers to the first restaurant of our family business, De Gouden Leeuw in Voorschoten. A delicious cocktail, good glass of wine, special beer, and tasty snacks are excellent in this cozy bar. This is also a great space to rent for a birthday party or networking event. The hotel offers various comfortable rooms to relax in. There are different room types, such as family rooms for a cozy overnight stay with the whole family. For those who enjoy extra luxury, one can choose one of our themed suites. With a fireplace, large walk-in shower, and private sauna or jacuzzi, you can relax to the fullest here. Had enough rest? The renovated hotel features a conference center with multifunctional rooms (up to 650m2), equipped with the latest technological gadgets. The new conference center can accommodate up to 1000 people. A place with many possibilities that can be used for various purposes. From meetings to multi-day conferences and from (baby) showers to grand parties. Our hotel is located in a beautiful area in Burgundian Brabant. Grab a (electric) bike and explore. Cycle along the cozy villages that Brabant is known for, vast meadows, or follow the route along the river Maas. Discover the nature reserves of Maashorst and Meijerij and plan a beautiful node route together with our staff at the reception. Just a 10-minute drive away lies the center of 's-Hertogenbosch. The historic city center, with the beautiful Binnendieze, combined with trendy shops and restaurants is a must-visit. Climb the tower of one of the most famous cathedrals in the Netherlands: the Sint-Jan. 35 km away from our hotel you will find the Efteling, where you can be enchanted by the fairy tales and magic of this well-known amusement park.
